I like the layout and composition, even the colors of this painting and many of the recent paintings you have posted. But they all seem so dark and have a gray cast to them. I was wondering if its the photo process you are using or if your intention to have them dark?
Hi Anthony. Thank you! And it's good to get your persceptive on the posted paintings. I think it's a combination of a number of factors. When I paint, I go from dark to middle tone to light, often erring on the side of the dark. When I photograph them, I don't use a flash, as I feel this washes out the color. I also need a new camera card as my last one went through the wash recently! I hate when that happens! Thank you again for your thoughts!
