Lunch In The District 16x20 Acrylic

There is an area in downtown Rock Island, Illinois known as The District with shops, galleries and bistros like this one. I like to walk down here at noon in the summer when the weather is nice. There are always painting subjects everywhere you look.

A very nice painting with delectible palette. I for one love cafe scenes and this one is super.

Thank you Cathyann. The sun filtering thru here and there is what attracted me at first to this scene.

Thank you Michele. Nice play on words. Made me laugh. You are always so nice! And I value your opinion very much!

I love the colors peaking through- adds a great deal of interest to an already interesting scene. Awesome painting.

Thank you Janet. That's what I like about acrylic, you can put down a color and it dries so quickly, other colors can be applied right away.
