Daily Painters Studio Tour

The view from my studio window of the house across the street.

This is where I do much of my work. Sometimes an easel is set up for larger work, but for smaller paintings I set the canvas board right on my lap. I need a paint box with a lid so I can close it quickly when Charity or Hope the cats walk in. Rockwell and Remington are great inspirations as I work. Today, many of the Daily Painters are posting pictures of their studios. Please visit the Daily Painters site to see where and how artists set up a working space.

What a beautiful view outside your studio window! Your creative nook is very cozy and I can see how your furry friends would like to "help" you as you work. Great space! Jeanne

Thank you, Delilah. It has been fun seeing everyones' studios today. We practice our work alone, so it is comforting to know that we are a community here!

Thank you, Jeanne. I see from your blog that you love cats too. They are family and this is more their house than it is mine. I wouldn't have it any other way. The house across the street is about 150 years old. It's like living next to something in a Disney movie.

Thank you, Michele. I am very fortunate to be living in these surroundings. Just looking at that house inspires something in me. Keep up your great work!
